The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, alleged that ExxonMobil violated Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 after the corporation failed to take necessary steps to fix and stop racial discrimination at its chemical plant and oil refinery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
